Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) at Healthcare Pharmacy in Hornchurch
Save time and hassle with the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). This NHS service allows your GP to send your prescriptions directly to your chosen pharmacy electronically, reducing the need for paper prescriptions.
How Does EPS Work?
It’s straightforward:
- Nominate a Pharmacy: Nominate us as your preferred pharmacy for receiving electronic prescriptions, if you would like us to dispense them.
- Your GP Sends Your Prescription Electronically: When your doctor issues a prescription, it’s sent directly to our pharmacy via a secure NHS system.
- We Prepare Your Medication: Team will send you a notification once its ready for collection
Repeat and One-Off Prescriptions
EPS can be used for both repeat and one-off prescriptions. If you haven’t nominated our pharmacy yet, simply ask your GP surgery to send your prescriptions electronically to us.
How to Nominate Healthcare Pharmacy for EPS
- In-Store: Speak to a member of our team in-store, and we’ll register your nomination on the system.
- At Your GP Surgery: Let your GP surgery know you would like your prescriptions sent electronically to Healthcare Pharmacy.
- Online: Complete our simple online EPS nomination form.
